in Comparative Literature (French, German, English), UC Irvine.
Her research interests include psychoanalytic theory; 20th century French literature; contemporary philosophy and critical thought
(especially theories of the subject); and biblical hermeneutics and
theology. She has published essays on Jacques Lacan,
Pierre Klossowski, Alain Badiou, Saint Paul, Friedrich Nietzsche,
and the Hebrew Bible. She recently completed a book manuscript
entitled The Hostess, My Neighbor: Hospitality and the Expropriation
of Identity, and is co-editing a volume of essays by Pierre Klossowski
for University of Minnesota Press. Her current project is a
book on ethics and aesthetics in the work of Jacques Lacan.
