Directions from the Statler Hotel, Cornell University to Karl and Susan Shell's House at 917 Wyckoff Road, Ithaca.  272-3579.

There will be a buffet on Saturday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the house of Karl and Susan Shell.  Students and faculty participating in the workshop are invited.

 

  1. Exit the hotel parking lot. At the intersection of the Statler Hotel (4-way stop), turn right on to Campus Road. At the next intersection (4-way stop), turn right on to East Ave.

  2. Go through the traffic light and cross the Thurston Avenue Bridge.

  3. East Avenue turns into Thurston Avenue across the bridge.  Stay on Thurston Avenue (it bears left).

  4. Turn right on Wyckoff Avenue (second street after the bridge).

  5. Stay on Wyckoff (eventually Wyckoff Road) as it twists and winds through Cayuga Heights (you will cross several roads at strange angles; it is downhill all the way).  The Shell's house (917 Wyckoff Road) is the last driveway on the right before Wyckoff comes to a T with Renwick Road.  The mailbox is marked SHELL.  The house sits back in the woods. Please drive in.  There is plenty of parking there. Don't park on the street.
