Harnessing Globalization for Growth
On this topic I have written a series of articles. See the selested list. Just this month (November 2003), my book Economic Development in a Globalized Environment: East Asian Evidences appeared at the Kluwer Academic Press, which presents my overall views in a single place.
East Asian Development: What does it show?
My work here follows the appearance of M. Morishima's 1982 volume, and how
his interpretation was received by leading economists like S. Chakravarty. Since
I could believe that either the Nipponized version of Confucianism, nor any
version of Confucianism explains that much of East Asian growth, I present my
views, as soon as I could, and whenever I had the opportunity. The related papers
of mine not all equally accessible, are as follows.
