FINAL INFORMATION

THE BASICS ABOUT THE FINAL

FINAL: There will be a cumulative final during exam week.

Final exam slot is "H" which is Monday May 11 from 9:00-11:30am in Barton Hall 100 Cent-Main Floor- it's very early in the morning, so be ready!

Final Makeup Policy: A make-up final will be offered on Thursday May 14 from 2:00-4:30pm, location = RCK122.
Only people with official university types of reasons can take a makeup final and you must send an e-mail to Judit Temesvary <jt275@cornell.edu> with your request/situation AS SOON AS POSSIBLE for approval. See: http://cuinfo.cornell.edu/Academic/EXSP.html for Cornell policy regarding final exams and what are university reasons for a makeup.

Note: These are the only two times the final will be offered. There will be no other finals administered in May.

Extended Time Arrangements:

For the Official Exam on Monday May 11: Will start at 8:30am. Location = URH369

For the Makeup Exam on Thursday May 14: Will start at 1:30pm. Location = URH498

EXAM DETAILS AND NOTICES

ONLY SIMPLE FUNCTION LOW TECH CALCULATORS ARE ALLOWED. NO CELL PHONES OR GRAPHING CALCULATORS ARE ALLOWED AT EXAMS. NO DEVICES THAT HAVE CALCULATOR "apps"AS WELL AS OTHER FUNCTIONS ARE ALLOWED EITHER.
IDENTIFICATION - You must be ready to present ID at the exam. DO NOT FORGET TO BRING IT.
You may want to bring a straightedge and a colored pen/pencil or two. You may use pen and/or pencil on the exam.

COVERAGE

All Lectures and all indicated chapters for those PowerPoint files. (Note: we may only have touched on some of the topics in a few of the assigned chapters. Use your lecture notes as your guide. I will not hold you responsible for things that I never introduced in lecture or on problem sets.) Check your Reading List for the corresponding chapters in the McClelland "Confidential Guide..." if you happen to have one.
