Bio

Stuart Davis joined Cornell’s English Department in 1984, having taught at Yale, C.U.N.Y., and Orange County Community College. He teaches undergraduate courses in Shakespeare in the Twentieth Century, Reading as Writing, The Reading of Drama, Philosophic Fictions, Making the News, the Great Cornell American Novel, and The Mystery in the Story. He mentors graduate student instructors in their teaching of first-year and advanced writing courses.
