WELCOME TO EPL ONLINE
The mission of the Program on Ethics & Public Life is to help equip students with the tools to become responsible citizens and professionals in an increasingly complex world. That mission is accomplished in three ways:
- through courses taught by EPL faculty
- through assisting other faculty in integrating ethics into their courses
- by encouraging connections to the world beyond Cornell
Although EPL has its academic home in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences, since its inception in 1987, the program has served the entire Cornell community and sought to influence national and international debates through a variety of courses, faculty development activities, lectures, colloquia, and conferences.
