Mildred April Memorial Award
A faculty selection committee annually bestows this award, created in memory of Mildred April, to an undergraduate major in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a financial need.

FGSS First-Year Writing Seminar Award
The FGSS First-Year Writing Seminar Award will be offereded to one or two graduate students at Cornell for demonstrated excellence in teaching. Applicants must have completed their third year. The award will provide tuition and a stipend, equivalent to the current teaching assistantship stipend, for the one semester of teaching. deadline: March 7 Application pdf

FGSS Teaching Assistantships
FGSS has a limited number of teaching assistantships each year and is particularly interested in graduate students at Cornell who would benefit from working with our joint faculty and serving as a TA in our core curriculum.

Alice Hanson Cook Fund
Alice Hanson Cook (1903-1998) devoted her life to helping working people, especially working women, on four continents. She was a pioneer in bringing attention to issues such as comparable worth, maternity leave, and pay equity. The Alice Hanson Cook Fund supports comparative and/or international studies of gender and social change.
