• Christopher M. Monroe (Ph.D., Near Eastern Studies, University of Michigan, 2000; M.A., Nautical Archaeology, Texas A&M University, 1990; M.S., Information, University of Michigan, 2001) is a Senior Lecturer of Near Eastern Studies and Curator for the Jonathan and Jeanette Rosen Tablet Collection. His primary interest is in socioeconomic relations in the Eastern Mediterranean and Near East in the Bronze Age, with a particular focus on maritime traders.
