Director of Orchestras
Chris Younghoon Kim
At Cornell, Professor Kim conducts the Symphony Orchestra, the
Chamber Orchestra, and teaches conducting. He works closely with
the students in the D.M.A. program in composition, assisting
them in presenting their new works in concert. He is also
the artistic director of Brave New Works, a new music ensemble
based in Ann Arbor, MI. He frequently guest conducts
groups such as the Firebird Ensemble and Kalistos Chamber
Orchestra based in Boston, MA.
