Mendelssohn and New works

The Cornell Chamber Orchestra shares a concert with the Cornell Wind Symphony in Bailey Hall.  After working with the iO string quartet and Joseph Lin, CCO will perform sinfonie No. 6 in Eb Major by Mendelssohn without conductor.  The concert will also feature new works for String orchestra.

Schnittke & Mozart

The Cornell Chamber Orchestra shares a concert with the Cornell Symphony Orchestra in Bailey Hall.  This concert will feature violinist Joseph Lin leading the CCO in a performance of Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and pianist Xak Bjerken in a performance of Alfred Schnittke's Piano concerto.

2008-2009 Season

Upcoming Season

Here is the Chamber Orchestra 's season-at-a-glance.  Fall season will feature Barber's Summer of Knoxville and a collaboration with the University Chorale in a performance of Mozart's Requiem in Sage Chapel.  Spring semester will feature two soloists leading a conductorless orchestra; Joseph Lin leading Mozart's Eine Kleine Nacht Musik Alfred Schnittke's Piano concerto led by Xak Bjerken.
