Haydn Festival

The Cornell Chamber Orchestra celebrates the music of Haydn.  The concert will feature Overture to L'Incontro improvviso conducted by assistant conductor Damien Mahiet and Malcolm Bilson performing Concerto in G along with Haydn's farewell symphony.  Before the concert Professor James Webster will give a pre-concert talk on the farewell symphony at 715 pm in Barnes Hall.

Young People's Concert

The Cornell Chamber Orchestra shares a concert with the Cornell Symphony Orchestra in Bailey Hall.  This concert will feature narrator Graeme Bailey in a performance of Saint Saens' Carnival of the Animals along with new animals composed for this concert.  The second half of the concert will feature guest composer Kristin Kuster and Britten's Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra performed by the Cornell Symphony Orchestra.
