Cornell Libraries The Cornell libraries hold over 6 million volumes. All items acquired since 1973 are included in the on-line catalogue. The Library Gateway provides access to the catalgue, information about Cornell libraries, and access to networked resources. Cornell users can create a personalized version of the Gateway. This database contains over 4500 images of Renaissance and Baroque art and architecture. Many of the prints and rare books are from the holdings of Cornell's Johnson Museum of Art and Kroch Rare and Manuscript collections. Only a demo version is available outside Cornell. Located in Olin, the main Cornell library, the Electronic Text Center has among its holdings many CDs and databases of interest for Renaissance Studies. Iter provides bibliography for scholarship on the Middle Ages and Renaissance. In addition to the printed versions in Olin and the Fine Arts Library, Cornell subscribes to the on-line version of the Dictionary of Art. |
