Jura
Oliveira was born in São Paolo, Brazil. He received his M.A.
and Ph.D. in Luso-Brazilian Language and Literature, with a minor
in Latin American Literature, at the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. He has been responsible for the Portuguese language
program at Cornell for over 10 years. |
