Cal is the undergraduate coordinator for a complex teaching program that includes 3 separate undergraduate majors. She works closely with faculty members to generate our course rosters, schedule classroom usage, post office hours, order textbooks, oversee course evaluations, and coordinate the grading process. She also maintains statistical records for grades, enrollment patterns,and advisees. Cal processes EPC forms for new course offerings, and works with faculty to determine and set caps and limits for courses during enrollment periods. She also coordinates the Freshman Writing and Summer Session offerings for the department. Cal provides undergraduate students with information on placement requirements for our majors, distribution requirements, petition requests, and refers students to faculty as needed. She supports the Associate Chair and the Director of Undergraduate Studies. She also works closely with the administrative manager for programmatic issues. In addition, as building coordinator she receives and processes requests for keys, and arranges for building repairs and maintenance.
