August 22-September 14

• Any change can be made without petition (add, drop, credit hours, or grade option).

August 22-October 12

• Courses may be dropped without a petition.

September 14

• Last day to change grade option from Letter to "S/U".
• Last day to change grade option from "S/U" to Letter.
• Last day to add course for "S/U" option.

After September 14

• Courses, including independent study, may only be added by petition.

After October 12

• Course drops by petition only. All courses dropped after this date will appear on the official transcript with the notation of "W". (See "Fall 2005 General Announcements" for policy on dropping courses from the 8th to the 12th week of the term.)

November 16

• Last day to petition to drop courses.

• You can go up or down one credit hour in a variable credit course all semester--no petition. Complete and turn in a drop/add form to change credit hours.
• Any student who is not enrolled in courses by the end of the third week of classes may not be allowed to add courses.
