Professional programs leading to a master’s degree

Most professional fields (architecture, city planning, library science, public policy, social work, and teaching, to name just a few) accept students with undergraduate degrees in the liberal arts and sciences and train them as professionals in programs leading to a master’s degree. Most have a certain few specific prerequisites. Undergraduates can find out what these are by consulting catalogues available in libraries here at Cornell (and now also on web sites). There is little financial aid for such programs.
