Sarah Eckert Bernstein

Sarah E. Bernstein (Costume Designer) is the Resident Costume Designer for the Department of Theatre, Film and Dance, and Senior Lecturer in Costume Design and History. Some of her recent Schwartz Center projects include Othello, The Merchant of Venice, A Raisin in the Sun and The Grapes of Wrath. Sarah also recently designed the costumes for The Uneasy Chair at Peninsula Players Theatre in Door County, Wisconsin. Sarah has designed costumes and scenery, or has been an assistant designer for a variety of academic, regional, Broadway, off-Broadway, and summer theatres. Sarah is a graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University and the Yale School of Drama, and is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
