It's a Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play
Adapted by Joe Landry from the original screenplay
December 12-13 at 2:00 pm
December 12 at 7:30 pm
Kiplinger Theatre

This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a 1940s radio broadcast. Imagine five actors embodying over 30 characters, creating their own sound effects, and charming a live audience under the auspices of a delightful old time radio show. A heartwarming treat not to be missed!

A holiday pre-show reception will be held before each performance featuring goodies from Collegetown Bagels and choral singing by the Trumansburg Community Chorus and Newfield High School choir. In the spirit of the show, a Holiday Toy Drive will be hosted by the Schwartz Center Dec. 1-14. Bring a new, unwrapped children's toy and place it in the holiday boxes in the lobby. Donations can also be brought to the Schwartz Center Box Office during business hours or the Cornell Public Service Center at 200 Barnes Hall. In addition, a portion of the proceeds of Saturday evening's performance will go to the United Way of Tompkins County.

It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play is made possible through support from our media sponsor Cayuga Radio Group, our business sponsor George B. Bailey Insurance Agency, and our reception sponsor Collegetown Bagels.

Tickets: $8/$10
