Theatre Major Requirements
The theatre major offers studies in the history of theatre, dramatic theory
and criticism, playwriting, acting, directing, design/technology, and stage
management. Students interested in the theatre arts major should consult with

Three courses in the area of Theatre Studies chosen
in the following manner:
- ONE course must be at the 3000 level
- ONE course must be at the 4000 level
- ONE additional course at the 3000 or above level
- ONE of the three courses must be pre-20th century

| Three courses (at least 9 credits) in other
theatre courses chosen in consultation with the faculty adviser. Courses
taken to qualify for admission to the Advanced Undergraduate Theatre Program
may also be used to fulfill this requirement. |
